Processing & Delivery Times

  • Order Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 1 to 2 business days before being handed over to our courier partner.

  • Transit Time: Once shipped, delivery takes approximately 8 to 11 business days.

Delays & Liability

  • While we make every effort to ensure your order arrives within the estimated timeframe, shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • Under South African consumer law (such as the Consumer Protection Act), a supplier is generally responsible for ensuring goods are delivered within the agreed time. However, you can legally protect your business against unforeseen courier delays that are completely out of your direct control (such as severe weather, strikes, or regional courier backlogs) by stating that you are not liable for external carrier delays—provided you keep customers informed and handle fulfillment proactively.

A Quick Legal Note on Liability

Under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) in South Africa, a merchant remains responsible for the delivery of goods to the consumer. While you can include a clause disclaiming liability for third-party courier delays (like strikes or national logistical disruptions), you cannot completely contract out of your obligation to deliver. To stay compliant and keep your customers happy, it is best practice to assist customers with tracking and liaising with Aramex if a delay happens.
